Okay, so I initially download ASC 12 as a way to boost the speed of a four-year-old laptop that needed a little help.

As soon as I did, it automatically downloaded four of their other programs onto my computer.

I chose to keep two of them and for a little while it seemed to help.

However, eventually, I started to realize that my computer was faster to load when they were disabled.

So, I did some research and saw that a lot of people were having similar problems.

So, I deleted the programs and decided to leave it alone.

This morning, I got an email from Iobit telling me that I needed to make sure their program didn't auto-renew.

So, slightly annoyed, I went to the website and figured it would be simple.

However, their website is the most roundabout loop-da-loop thing in the world. It is extremely difficult to find anything and almost impossible to get from one place to another.

If you can eventually re-find your order number, they then send you to a second website which (even though they say it's on the initial payment form) is not.

You are supposed to use this website to search your order number and cancel the auto-renewal.

I searched my order number and it came up with zero results.

I searched it again.

Then, I searched my customer number.

Zero results.

I even searched the serial number of the program.

Nope.

When all that failed, I tried registering on the website with email. It wouldn't let me.

Wow.

So, then I decided to go to Iobit's customer service and tell them what happened and to cut my auto-renewal.

After writing my review, the website completely froze and locked me out of it so that I couldn't even see if my contact with them went through.

I can try to email them through Gmail, but if that doesn't happen, I thank my lucky stars that my credit card has changed since 2017.

Stay away from this scammer.

Reason of review: Return, Exchange or Cancellation Policy.

Monetary Loss: $30.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

I liked: Easy to use.

I didn't like: I wasted a lot of time attempting to contact customer service, Rude support, Trouble i spent cancelling their service, Round-about nature of the website.
